ASP ANNOUNCES A REALIGNMENT OF SENIOR MANAGEMENT

March 6, 2003 (Coolangatta, QLD, Australia) - At the recent Board of Directors meeting in Coolangatta, Executive positions were realigned to reflect a new triumvirate of managerial staff, with Wayne "Rabbit" Bartholomew assuming the role of President, Peter Whittaker as CEO and Richard Grellman as non-executive Chairman of the Board.

As Rabbit commented "It is business as usual at ASP. Pete Whittaker and I have been an administrative team for four years at ASP and another six before that at Surfing Australia. Pete takes care of the day to day management and I am the roving ambassador for the sport, so no change there.

I welcome Richard Grellman as Chairman as he brings to the team a wealth of
managerial skills and a corporate vision." Peter Whittaker said "I welcome the new challenges that come to me as CEO.

ASP is very well placed to build on a very successful 2002 season. The programme this year looks very exciting and promises even more than the heights that we scaled last year." Richard Grellman said "I have a very high regard for the special skills that both Rabbit and Peter bring to this great sport. Our atheletes are the very best in the world. I very much look forward to working with Rabbit and Peter as we take ASP forward in 2003 and beyond." ASP INTERNATIONAL 61 (0) 7 5599 1550
