Keep the North Shore Country is a non-profit organization working to preserve, protect and enhance the heritage and rural character of the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, in partnership with communities from Kaena Point to Kahaluu.

Resurrecting a development agreement from 20 years ago, a venture capital firm is
asking the City and County of Honolulu for permission to build a major resort on this
pristine, rural coastline, which is serviced by one narrow, two-lane highway. Much has
changed since the underlying environmental impact statement was completed in 1985,
so Keep the North Shore Country, a grassroots organization, filed suit to force a
Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement. The vast majority of residents and
visitors to Hawaii demand a thorough review of the proposed project. Find out how
