Surf fans can sign up for the text messaging service and receive a “Greenlight” message on their cell phones as soon as The Mavericks Surf Contest® presented by Ask.com® is called to take place. When the waves reach contest-worthy heights, the Mavericks team will “Greenlight” the event, giving surfers a mere 24 hours to arrive ready to compete at Half Moon Bay.
