LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Friday, October 5, 2012) – The final day of the Quiksilver Pro France has been called ON this morning with the Semifinals commencing at 8:10am in three-to-five foot (1 – 1.5 metre) waves at La Graviere.

Event No 7 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France will culminate today as the final four surfers of reigning 11-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA), 40, current ASP WCT No. 2 Joel Parkinson (AUS), 31, rookie John John Florence (HAW), 19, and wildcard Dane Reynolds (USA), 27, all vie for the title.

“Conditions are clean this morning and we’ll take advantage of the remainder of this swell, commencing the final day of competition immediately,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “On paper, we have some pretty exciting match-ups and expect a good morning of surfing. Good luck to all our remaining competitors.”

Up first this morning will be John John Florence (HAW), 19, against Dane Reynolds (USA), 27, in Semifinal 1 of Quiksilver Pro France competition.
