KERAMAS, Bali/Indonesia (Monday, October 15, 2012) – A lay-day has been called today at the 2012 Oakley ASP World Junior Championships Bali. Contest officials monitored conditions at Keramas and deemed that is was too small to call the Quarterfinals on. A promising forecast could see competition resume as early as tomorrow.

“We’ve got a couple more days in the waiting period and the forecast is looking good,” said Contest Director Beau Emerton. “We’ll come back at the same time tomorrow and make another call. Surfline are calling that the swell should be picking up, and who knows, we could be crowning a Men’s ASP World Junior Champion tomorrow.”

The Oakley ASP World Junior Championships Bali will run from October 6 – 17. For LIVE webcast, Heats on Demand, event videos and more check www.oakleyprojunior.com.
