LA GRAVIERE, Hossegor/France (Thursday, October 4, 2012) – The Quiksilver Pro France, Stop No. 7 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, has been called back on this morning with the remaining four heats of Round 3 commencing at 8:15am in four-to-six foot (1 – 1.5 metre) waves at La Graviere.

UPDATE: The Quiksilver Pro France has been placed ON HOLD until 3:30pm. Event organizers are hopeful they can Round 5 and the opening two Quarterfinal heats this afternoon.

“We have solid conditions this morning and will recommence competition immediately,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We have a few hours of favorable tide and will monitor conditions throughout the day in hopes of running Rounds 4 and 5. We’ll monitor the conditions closely. Good luck to all our competitors today.”

Up first this morning will be Owen Wright (AUS), 22, against Fredrick Patacchia (HAW), 30, in Heat 9 of Round 3.
